Author William Phillips Brings Terror with ‘Mausoluem’ Book release

Presenting a unique new voice in horror fiction

What happens when slasher traditions jump from the screen onto the page?

Author William Phillips gives readers a terrifying look into the psyche of a killer in his debut novel, β€œMausoluem.”

Jeff Crane owns a dying construction company. The economy has taken a toll and he’s been forced to lay off nearly his entire staff. In the dead of winter, his skeleton crew is hired to renovate the inside of a decaying mausoleum.

Once inside, they discover the building is not as sound as the blue prints led them to believe. Before they even demolish a single wall, a harrowing collapse traps them inside. As they begin to search for a way out, they realize they are not alone inside the building. It’s up to Jeff to lead his crew to safety or succumb to the horrors inside the walls of the mausoleum.

β€œI grew up on the great horror films of the 1980’s, so it’s only fitting that my first novel takes those traditions and flips them on their ear,” the author says.

William Phillips grew up in New Castle, Pennsylvania. He studied writing at the University of Pittsburgh and holds a Master’s Degree from the University of London. He currently resides and New York City and is the writer of the screenplay, β€œThe Bride-To-Be.” He operates a website at www.williamrphillips.com

β€œMausoleum” is now available at all online retailers and available for order through your local book store.
