Withdraw Some Terror at this ‘ATM’

Probably just me not paying attention but until today I hadn’t even heard of ATM. Upon reading the synopsis I was like WTF? Really a slasher flick about people trapped at a cash machine?

Gotta say though after watching the trailer, it don’t look half bad. I kind of thought the same thing about P2 – the “woman trapped in a parking garage flick” from a few years back but it ended up being pretty damn good so why not an ATM, right?

So this is what ATM is all about:

A trio of friends find themselves held hostage by a parka wearing whack job when they stop at an isolated ATM machine on their way home from a party..

Pretty much it in a nut shell. It comes to us from writer Chris Sparling who also gave us BURIED that Ryan Reynolds flick about the dude buried alive and that was one fine film so ATM has that going for it.

I think that best way to prove that this one is for real is for you to check out the trailer below, it really is quite good. IFC has picked this one up and they always do a nice job handling the roll outs. No release info yet but it will be following shortly.

Enjoy:
