Video Madness: Monster Parties

Welcome back, children. Last week was a truly terrifying one, filled with phobias and madness plucked lovingly from the bowels of the human psyche. This week we’re going to take it easy and relax a bit – with some comedy. Yes, yes. I know. “But Professor Fiendy, your suppose to show us crazy videos of cows eating tigers, and rich men hunting hobos with harpoons.”

Well, while this is true, it’s not the whole truth and nothing but the truth some help me god. Your Professor has a curious lean toward all that is macabre and diabolical, indeed. Yet, those in the know know I’m also a fan of all that is absurd and ridiculous. Now, when the two collide, well then children – then you have a thing of true beauty. Besides, if it’s got monsters, it’s technical horrific. Now, don’t write this video off just yet, simply because I’m admitting it will neither scare nor shock you. This is still your good Professor Fiendy we’re talking about here and fiendy he remains – even in jest.

Today’s madness comes to you via the minds of Bob Odenkirk and David Cross from a short-lived television program they had on HBO during the late 90’s called “Mr. Show with Bob and David.” It never did terribly well, eventually was canceled but its following remains savage and fervent. This sketch is silly, absurd and awesome. It is perhaps one of my favorite sketches of all time. I was pleased (but not necessarily surprised) to find this floating on the web. I’m not having such luck with tomorrow’s madness.
