Perhaps the greatest vampire zombie comic read on the market or ever created for that matter, this one excels with a confident engaging story line that is sure to be movie material some day. The time is the future and the world is currently on what I’d like to call an alternate universe. Back in the day, the vampire and zombies roamed in search of blood or meat which of course replicated as a virus. The world deeded some heroes at the gate and the FVZA was created (Federal Vampire and zombie Agency) which was an offshoot of the Vampire national Guard. Soon teams were rounded up to exterminate as many of these things as possible, but the smart ones took to underground and hiding waiting for a triumphant return. At present, the vampires have managed to remain off the radar …that is until a careless member named Mandrake decide to let the world in on his supremacy over them. Overzealous and anxious he is exterminated by his elders…ones of his own kind. But as they say the cat is out of the bag.

The book takes a stroll thru legend, history and where we aer now with a family who’s lived there lives also involved from day one. One person is a girl named Landra who’s lifetime of training makes her a deadly weapon against any foe. Though this case its vampire and zombies. Her grandfather runs the agency who has also enlisted her brother into the cause. The intent is strong and determined to rid the world of these vermin once and for all…excpet that the powers that be seem to have created some new strains that threaten the very existence of non vampires.
