Saw (3D) VII Box Office

Saw VII which is said to be the final Saw film (don’t believe it)  in the long running franchise opened this weekend to some good numbers. So far it appears to have earned $24.2 million which is good but still far below what it used to do. The only movies to open lower than this were the first Saw and Saw VI. This also means that as far as the matchup between Paranormal Activity 2 and Saw VII does then PA2 has it beat by a long shot. Saw wins for the week but PA2 had a much bigger opening with $40 mil which is bigger than any Saw film has ever opened to.

Still the numbers are good for the seventh movie in a franchise and gives horror two weeks of having a number one film in the box office. You just gotta love halloween.
